The Situation
The client has established itself as a leading player in the industry with a complete range of Forged Fittings & Allied Products. In recent years, they have made major investments in R&D, Infrastructure, Plant & Machinery, Technology, People and Processes. This translated into winning repeated orders from the existing domestic market and acquiring new clients as well. The success in the domestic market gave them the confidence to venture into global sphere. The client had started exports to the US, Germany and other European nation including Turkey. The client's leadership team has quickly realised that in order to further expand the exports it is critical to establish systems and processes with a view to achieving defining business objectives i.e. product and service quality, operational efficiency, environmental performance, health and safety in the workplace and Total Quality Management Systems. This would help the Company to retain a competitive edge globally.
The Intervention
We began the journey with a meeting with the leadership team, followed by an in-depth and meaningful engagement with other stakeholders. A deep dive audit of the existing systems and processes, key operational indices, environmental framework, people policies and a number of alignments within the ambit of organisational expectations.
In order to hand-hold and facilitate knowledge transfer, the Functional Heads and their direct reports were trained extensively to master the skills of successful maintenance and advancement of the newly designed system in an ever evolving compliance standard scenario both at domestically and world-wide.
The Outcome
The Certifying Agency (A leading global agency) have carried out a rigorous audit of systems and processes and its implementation on the ground. The client team has successfully cleared the stage I and Stage II audits which leads to a recommendation for the Award of the coveted IMS to our esteemed client.

The Situation
The client is into the Packaging Business for more than three decades. In the early years of the millennium the Company had seen positive growth year on year as it had embraced the latest technology in bulk / industrial packaging. The problem started surfacing in when the Company started focusing largely on supplying to its parent Organisation. This shift in priority and focus restricted its growth as it could not look at other potential / emerging business opportunities outside. The continuous rise in raw material costs, wage bills and low operational efficiency together with a shrinking product portfolio had adversely impacted the Top-line and the Bottomline and laxity in quality standards had emerged.
The Intervention
We have entered into a long term consulting engagement with the Company to bring about buoyancy in operations and freshness of thinking ignorer to bring it back on a growth trajectory and create a niche of market leadership in the segment enjoyed decades earlier. The project kick started with crystallising VISION-MISSION-VALUES, followed by drawing up of Business Plans and setting up Organisational and Departmental Goals. Thereafter, key performance indices for each of the processes identified and frozen, marketing and business strategies to support the organisational short, medium and long terms gaols were formulated. The Functional leaders were coached and mentored to achieve mutually agreeable deliverables. A ‘Think Tank’ comprising a cross functional leadership team was formed to review and measure the progress of critical business parameters and initiate course correction for any deviations. In order to bring about cultural change (identified as a key element in creating an optimum performance culture) the consulting team got full support from our training vertical in conducting a series of workshop at all levels.
The Outcome
The Company witnessed a 2X growth over the next 24 months,’pandemic’ notwithstanding. Backed by a strong leadership at the top and a successful execution of Business Plans at all levels, the Company managed to successfully venture into diverse market e.g Pharma packaging each with dedicated marketing teams.
